Hotel Igates Pils Alojamiento en Vidrizi, Letonia

The Igates Pils Hotel is located in Igate Castle, 70 km north of Riga, offering a quiet and beautiful location on the shore of a lake, which almost completely surrounds the castle.

First mentioned in 1455, the castle has changed names and ownership many times. In about 1880 it was rebuilt as a manor house in the Neo-Renaissance style. Since 1998 it has been used as a hotel.

The traditionally furnished rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences and offer wonderful views of the park. With its wide range of conference, banqueting and function rooms, Igate Castle is an ideal choice for seminars, meetings and events.

Because of its tranquil and beautiful surroundings, it is also the perfect place for recreation. In summer the garden is full of roses and other flowers in full bloom. A historic mill on the hotel grounds is still used for grinding buckwheat.

At the Mill Bar near the castle you can enjoy a variety of meals in a peaceful and cosy atmosphere, from traditional Latvian cuisine to modern masterpieces prepared by the chef himself .

The bar is open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. Breakfast for individual travellers is served there. If you would like to have breakfast before 10:00, please notify the hotel before your arrival.
